I'm doing terribly against you, Tom and Marianthi. I'm thinking about taking my ball back and going home in a giant sulk.

You could hardly have picked harder opponents to start against in Tom and Marianthi - they're both brilliant at it!

Murray, have you forgiven me yet?

I have forgiving to do?! In that case, yes. Definitely.
Hang about... for using SQUIZ? If so, then no. No I don't.

I'd like to point out that although I scored 3 bingos against Tom, he went on to stuff me by over 100 points. The talented git.

Well played.
In my defence I was going to make it beautifully symmetrical and play two tits and fat (ahem) but that would have just made it difficult for anyone to put any new words down!

Looking at the rack you were left with, I hope you had a satisfying vowel dump shortly afterwards?

I wish I could do that screenshot thing. Anyone know of a way to do that on Android?

Seems to depend on phone model. Looks complicated...

it's just two buttons pressed together on the iPhone... :P

Sleep and home.

Easiest just to hold sleep for a split second and then press home, you'll hear a shutter sound, the screen will go white, and the screenshot will end up in your camera roll.

Pffft, bloody Apple, making things easy. Once I've installed the android developer kit, connected my phone to my computer, enabled various settings and ensured that my phone is oriented perfectly west, I'll be taking screenshots like there's no tomorrow!

Anorak's own Super Furry Daniel is on Wordfeud as DanPopomatic, if anyone wants to give him a roasting. So to speak.

Yikes! I've never had that happen before! It has, however, quite often provided me with players who make one move, get bored and never play again.

On a less electronic note, I've been thinking about taking a portable Scrabble set to Indietracks. Is this a good idea? Would anyone fancy a game? Will I get so involved in it that I forget to watch any bands?

It looks from their Twitter (@wordfeud) like they've had problems with that all day and fixed them about a minute after you posted this...

I have 10 games on the go at the moment. If you all give me a pound each, I could give up the day job.

I don't see why not. Good for before things start or when there's just nothing on you want to see. There was quite a lot of card-playing a few years ago. It's not as if it stops you from drinking!

Hmmm, I've just played the letter Q in three consecutive moves in different games. Probability is a funny old thing.
