The best that can be said about the weather is that Saturday daytime looks dry.tonieee wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2017 11:19Don't worry, our tent will keep you dry! Anyway the deluge has now moved to Friday evening - just in time for all the bands on the main stage!Dan Pop-o-matic wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2017 12:06Current reports suggest a biblical deluge in the early hours of Saturday morning. Why oh why am I camping again this year?
Otherwise maybe a few showers during Sunday.

This may be the first year with the potential for heatstroke.
That said (and it can't really be accurate this far out) BBC weather currently predicts showers will finally arrive on Sunday afternoon, because Indietracks.

At least one person that I know of has had to seek medical attention due to heatstroke at indietracks. It might have been the year Gregory Webster played on the train - I was on that train and remember it being unbearably hot.

2008. I swear it was at least 30 degrees on the Sunday.
The long range forecasts are looking alright actually. A couple of showers but not predicting the shite we had last year.

BBC and the Met Office currently saying it'll be fine. Cloudy but dry. And warm.

Re: The weather pessimism thread
The forecast for the weekend seems to be changing a lot, apart from the guarantee of some amount of rain at some stage and that the heatwave will have passed.
Let me however put this another way - up to 36 degree heat two days before the church opens.
