Well...
Late next week and over the weekend, the weather is expected to be more mixed than of late. Most regions will see some sunny spells, but also cloudier periods with showers or perhaps longer spells of rain, some of these showers heavy, with a risk of thunder. It will also be less hot than recently, but temperatures still mostly above average and feeling warm in the sunnier areas, perhaps rather humid too.

The only thing that isn't mentioned there is a plague of locusts.

(A Plague of Locusts are playing in the merch tent on Monday morning - you heard it here first)

Is anyone else starting to get slightly concerned?

Seems that thunderstorms will be more likely in the two or three days before Friday.

Still, as they say, a little rain never hurt anyone.

Lightning in an area including a temporary largely metallic structure, a shed with a corrugated roof and a church made of tin, on the other hand...

All you have to do is ask. See you round the back of the engine shed.

According to the BBC, lovely on Friday, dull but warm on Saturday, sunshine and showers on Sunday. Temps up to 22 / 72 throughout.

So, to wear shorts, or not?

Met Office:
Friday:
A dry day with sunny spells, any early mist or fog soon clearing. Feeling warm and humid again as winds remain light. Maximum Temperature 24 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Saturday, hazy sunshine but cloudier skies and perhaps heavy, thundery rain later. Perhaps wet early Sunday but sunshine and showers later and through Monday. Still quite warm, and humid.
Thundery rain aside, looking much better than it did a couple of days ago.
