I haven't booked camping yet but there's never been an issue with space in previous years has there.
I wonder if the disco tent will be up again this year?
Disco tent was rad. Just don't camp near it.

really hope there's no disco tent, last year was well away from it and wearing earplugs but still found it difficult to get to sleep.

I was 2 minutes from the disco tent and had no toruble. Drink more, Daniel. Booze is the best earplugs.

No, the best earplugs are rolled up pieces of paper that you leave inside for 3 days without realising and then have to go to the doctors to get removed. Booze might have a big role to play in that though.

I once got so desperate for sleep at indietracks (it was the first year, with Annoying Fuckers on Climbing Frame All Nightgate) that I ripped up a fiver and shoved it in my ears because I could find any paper. Decadent, or what?

I just phoned up to book camping. I've not managed it, though. They told me to email them the details and someone will phone back for the booking. Why do I get the feeling I'll need to give them a call again tomorrow?

I wonder if they make extra effort to appear exceptionally rude over the phone? EDIT: Scratch that, a different guy phoned back and he was nic and friendly :)

I always find that a couple of Sominex before bed does the trick (they're an OTC sleepy tablet that they used to sell for hayfever before they realised it was knocking everyone out).

Even though they busted all the speakers?! I was not a fan of that, was expecting to be dancing til at least 6am monday.
Even at my best I was worse than the rest now I'm past it…

Me neither. A couple of nice pints of real ale does the trick. As does moving about in an excited manner to the bands played beforehand. Better still, do both. ;-)

Is there a campsite disco this year? I haven't, um, heard anything.

Either way though, like the others said, the booze and the tiredness really do knock you out. Maybe get some earplugs too. You'll be fine, promise.

Even if there is, people who are worried about it can camp waaaaaaaaaaaay up the hill toward the fest site.

I generally don't sleep well AT ALL. So weirdly, at Indietracks I sleep better due to all day drinking/dancing.

I can honestly attest that I slept better in my tent at last year's Indietracks than I generally do in my house.
