I wouldn't worry too much - mine also featured Robyn and Idlewild!

I like that one song by Robyn.
I am struck speechless by the nape of your neck.

How did I miss the unofficial CD swap? I brought one with me and took it home again. Does anyone want it?

I know "Dancing on my own" was on the list of about 300 songs I wanted to put on the "official" swap CD. Getting it down to 20 took a long time.

Well, you know, big hair, silver platform shoes, they all look the same to me...etc.etc...

Robyn is ace. "With Every Heartbeat" is an AMAZING pop song.

Ray, did you listen to that CD of Japanese stuff you got? I was pretty jealous of that.

That picture of Kenneth Williams almost made me spit my bloody tea out :D

I made a mix-CD but I didn't know about the theme "Space & Dogs" until too late. Hence my CD is on the subject of travel and transport.
Here's the track-listing:

THE GUILD LEAGUE 'Jet Set Go'
JACQUES DUTRONC 'Mini Mini Mini'
APPLES IN STEREO 'Motorcar'
BEARSUIT 'A Train Wreck'
BROMHEADS JACKET 'Trip To The Golden Arches'
THE FAMILY CAT 'Steamroller'
AGENT SIMPLE 'Make A Right Turn At Jordfallsmotet'
BETTY & THE WEREWOLVES 'Should I Go To Glasgow'
THE AISLERS SET 'The Train #1 & #2'
GO SAILOR 'The Boy Who Sailed Around The World'
CESSNA 'East Rigolo Motorway'
SHOP ASSISTANTS 'Train From Kansas City'
THE SMITHS ' London'
THE FIELD MICE 'Coach Station Reunion'
THE BELLTOWER 'Flight'
MADDER ROSE 'Swim'
THE PASTELS 'Truck Train Tractor'
From THE CLANGERS 'Visiting Friends' *
THE SOFTIES 'Tracks & Tunnels'
BALLBOY 'Essential Wear For Future Trips To Space'
STRAWBERRY STORY 'Freight Train'
POPGUNS 'Can't Ignore The Train'
LUSH '500 (Shake Baby Shake)'
THE SOFTIES 'Alaska'
THE LUCKSMITHS 'I Am About To Sail'

* Tiny Clanger makes a helicopter out of music notes and flies away to have tea with the Iron Chicken. He gets stuck in space, and the other Clangers wonder how they can get Tiny back safely.

I made a few copies so I think about 4 people have got one. I was quite pleased with the selections but seeing as I was still burning it at 12.30pm on Indietracks Friday, the accompanying art work was minimal (i.e. non-existent)
I was lucky enough to receive top tunage on CDs from AttaGirl Claire, Gareth Go Ape! and John Kell. Cheers guys.

Now, maybe I can steel myself to write a mini-report of how utterly bloody wonderful the whole weekend was.... *lip wobbles* OK, maybe not yet.

Assuming there'll be another one of these highly illigal markets happening I've already started working on my mix.

Can these be any kind of mix or should it be Indie Pop only? My knowledge of Indie Pop is limited and I doubt anyone would like a CD full of Korean Noisecore.

I've generally been quite light on indiepop on my mixes, because I assume most other people at the festival will know more about it than me anyway. But then I've never received any comment back from whoever picked up my mixes so maybe I didn't make the best choices. I'll probably make another one this year anyway though...

Did we ever work out who shat their bed about these mixes and tried to stop them?

I think we did, but I can't remember now who it was. Pretty sure it was someone from Birmingham, but that it was then some other Birminghams who came through and organised the replacement.
