My eyes immediately spotted "Language Of Flowers". At the very same moment, my neighbourgs probably heard a very high and loud scream of joy from my side of the wall.

'Jizztastic' would seem to be the grown up response.

Go Team Indietracks, go.

I'm so bloody excited I nearly emptied the contents of my disabled father's bedpan into the kitchen sink instead of down the toilet :0

I say, what jolly good stephens you all are, team indietracks... this is already a splendid line-up and I'm practically in a faint over getting to see the sea lions, orca team, the june brides and so many more

as slumberland are curating how likely is it we'll get to see sarandon back at indietracks?

also, there's one band who reformed for a show recently and I dare not mention their name for fear of jinxing it but if they play, oh my, that'll be incredible

2012, the end of the world as we know it? what a way to go if it is

WAHOO! this is ACE. the whole slumberland thing is something i dreamed might happen so i am BEYOND excited about that. and it does make it seem quite possible that the one band i would like to see more than any other at indietracks (aislers set aislers set aislers set) might do so. either way, this is ACE so far. well done, team!

The line-up is ok until now but nothing special so far, maybe The June brides and The Sunbathers.

These bands would make it perfect:

Cats on fire
Days (!!!)
Butcher boy
Twig (!!!)
The Felt tips
Close lobsters
The Bodines
Red shoe diaries
Holiday crowd
Balloon magic
Tellus about the moon
The Loft

So I hope at least some of them will appear.

Oh, and just to make it complete, more than welcome as well:

The Sunny street
Irene
The Electric pop group
Tellus about the moon
The Bats
Cocoanut groove

And of course all the bands odiodiodi already mentioned:

They Go Boom!!
Razorcuts
The Field Mice
Popguns
Brighter
The Brilliant Corners
Biff Bang Pow!

So that's it!

Haha! Wouldn't it be great to get Alan McGee along to Indietracks? I'm sure he'd hate it.

I would dearly love to have seen Biff Bang Pow in their heyday. I still think they were one of the greatest Creation bands, and that it was an irony that McGee was a better songwriter than many of the people he signed. I bet he hates all those songs now.

One of my favourite all-time indiepop songs:

That chorus. Oh my.

I think this line-up's a great start. Obviously we're all hoping that Black Tambourine (half of whom will be there anyway, one presumes), and Aislers Set play too, and maybe Mike can get Go Sailor to do a set too, which would be just about perfect.

But I'm wondering...let's say we get all of that, so Allo Darlin', Veronica Falls, Black Tambourine, Aislers Set, Go Sailor. Pretty damn awesome. But is that the level Indietracks is at now, or would there be a big headliner as well, like Edwyn, TFC, Camera Obscura, to bring in people other than those excited that Doggy are on the bill (yay! "Staying Out For The Summer"...always knew that would be recognised as an indiepop anthem one day, ho ho, etc etc), or is that it?

I'm perfectly happy for it to be it, and I actually think that Indietracks is more sustainable at that level and have said that to the Team in the past, but I was just wondering.

Looking forward to it!
