I think that it's not an exact science hahaha I've seen playing La Casa Azul for more than 2 hours and I enjoyed it a lot (although every time this happens I end really tired) and I've seen bands playing for 30-40 minutes (Los Bonsáis) that have put a great show too. When my band has played we kept the show in 45 minutes and gave time to us to play around 16 songs (our songs are short) and talk and have fun, so there's not really the golden show time.

An hour gives time for an amazing show, that's for sure. It's a matter of taste also, yeah but well... don't know. I like it : )

Gopals or burritos are defo THE food of Indietracks but not with cider or beer or any alcohol beverage...There was a stall selling fresh-fruit smoothies two years ago and their watermelon juice was the most delicious thing on earth, Nectar of Gods,I am telling you :-) If only they were back this year, especially if high temperatures persist over the coming weeks. I may have had 15-20 of them over that weekend. I still dream of it sometimes :-)

Deep and dark my submarine bells groan in greens and grey/Mine would chime a thousand times/To make you feel okay..

What shows could we possibly expect that are not on the official schedule? We already know The Just Joans will be playing.

I think the full line-ups of Colour Me Wednesday, Horowitz and The Sunbathers will be present, and I spotted members of Sock Puppets, The Spook School, The Hobbes Fanclub, The School and Cosines on the 'Going' list on Facebook. It'd be great if some of these would find an opportunity to play! Who else?

We're going to do a Band Aid style cover of Indiepop Angel as a big finale on Sunday night.

as long as the performance doesn't occur during peak toilet times it'll be EPIC.

I wonder if the song actually exists anywhere outside of Ted's (sorry, FinchleyTed's) warped mind? Could he be mistaken on the title? or is that being hopelessly and hopefully naïve?

It's not actually called Indiepop Angel. Those words are part of the lyrics.

ah-ha! the plot thickens. I want the lyrics tattood... on my face. not by Ted though. I wouldn't trust him with a needle, he could barely stand up straight when he ranted at me.

FINCHLEYYYYYYYYYY TEEEEEEEEEEEED, LET HIM KNOW IT'S INDIETRACKS.
And we just can't wait to make more mistakes and to fluff our breaks, and to stuff our faces with cake.

"Peak toilet time, there's no time to flush the chain, at peak toilet time we empty our bowels before filling them again"

alright, the last bit doesn't quite scan, but I like peak toilet time instead of "it's Christmas time"

Finchley Ted makes a better meme than he does a man.

Three quarters of The Sweet Nothings will be there. Just saying.

Poor Finchley. Maybe we should stop bullying him now. He is still a real person.

Yeah sorry. It was a (pretty obscure) Simpsons reference.

If anyone wants a free Pussycat Trash 7", no sleeve sadly except the generic type, just accost a man in a Turntable Revolution tee shirt and boldly demand said article.

Indietracks here we come!

I wasn't having ago at you in particular. We've all been ganging up on him for two years and you're right he has become a meme and people probably don't really intend to attack him personally but he might still read what's written here.

Anyway I shouldn't be all serious and putting a downer on things today of all days - indietracks is here!!!!
