Well, I saw the Yawns at the weekend, playing the Pop South thing in Glasgow the same day as us, and they were fabulous. Really original. I would love to see them at Indietracks.

They're great, already voted for them. Played the Obzine all dayer back last October. Loved them!

On that note I saw A New International on the Sunday and they were AMAZING, best Band I've Never Even Heard Of Before that I've seen in about a decade!

I want at least half the line-up to be those ace bands the organisers always manage to find who are brilliant but I have never heard of.

If we do have to watch bands we've seen before then I suppose I'd go for:

Jonathan Richman (Someone BORN to play Indietracks) (But you might have to shut those passing trains etc up while he's on)
The Spook School
Manhattan Love Suicides
The Parallelograms
Laura Cantrell
T.O.Y.S.
The Blue Orchids
Poppycock (Una Baines new band)
ONSIND
Martha
Half Man Half Biscuit
Tyrannosaurus Dead
Eux Autres
Our Arthur (ex Groove Farm)
The Fall
Cheers!

I can't recall

Keel Her

being mentioned in this thread, so them, 'cause their album is bliss.

Seen oodles of ace bands since Indietracks last year. However, I have but one request (please):

The Sweet Nothings.

It's my birthday on Indietracks Saturday and I have been a very, very good girl this year. Hoping that Team Indietracks can make it my best birthday ever...: )

Also, birthday lollipops all round!
