Prolapse

I have never seen this band live despite coming from their city and knowing Geordie Mick for fucking YEARS before clicking he was in them (I got to know him after they'd finished). Also now he's fucked off back to the NE it'd be nice to hang with the bugger.

My only knowledge of Prolapse is that Trev has been coordinating a tribute album for the last 19 years.

What are they like?

Easily the best band I've ever seen. I followed them around like a puppy on the 'Pointless Walks to Dismal Places' tour and did the most coy interview ever with them in the Hearty Goodfellow in Nottingham. I daren't say anything. When Mick turned up at our all-dayer a couple of years ago, I'm ashamed to say I gushed everywhere. So to speak.

I had never heard about Prolapse a few days ago, and I still haven't heard them. But the frenzy over here just makes me wanna join. You have convinced me it will be awesome! So here's my vote:

PROLAPSE!

I remember schlepping all the way to Loughborough from north London to see them back in the days when Student Unions would have an indie night midweek. Loughborough, being renowned for its rather, er, sporty gentlemenfolk. I'm sure you can imagine how the evening panned out.

I vote Oh Peas! too.

Also, T-Shirt Weather.
And we just can't wait to make more mistakes and to fluff our breaks, and to stuff our faces with cake.

I went to see them in Loughborough, but I can't remember which record/tour it was. And, Loughborough was, as it always is, full of twats, yep. I think my mate got in a fight at the traino that night. GOOD TIMES.

My favourite ever gig of theirs was at The Charlotte with (I think) Kooky Monster and The Council. Right before Christmas and right after Pointless Walks came out. A completely life-changing night, and I don't usually have my life changed in Leicester.
