This. If some people had their way it'd be two alternating line ups stretching into infinity (I exaggerate for comedic effect but you know what I mean).

Agreed. But I think a few bands coming back is alright. But maybe not alternating every other year though. Some bands haven't played for 5/6/7 or more years. It'd be lovely to see The Smittens or Horowitz return for instance......
not really here

GRACE PETRIE!

a) she's amazing
b) she's local
c) she'd take the roof off (even if outside)
d) she's very much up for doing it

I saw her get a standing ovation from 500 people last night - see point a)!

St. Christopher

They played on the outdoor stage one afternoon in 2008. I think me and my brother made up about a quarter of the audience, and I felt sad.

"Where's everybody f***ed off to?", queried Glenn Melia. "Perhaps they don't like our Yorkshire Heavy Metal".

He looked a bit incongruous with his bleached highlights and ripped jeans, looking all the world like Joe Elliott did during that brief period when some of Def Leppard cut their hair a bit shorter, but it was still a splendid set of stuff encompassing all points of the band's recording career, and I wished more people had cared about it.

I can never work out which of the older indiepop bands to be booked for Indietracks will attract an audience and which not; there seems little logic to it sometimes. Hardly any other bugger turned out to see The Haywains last year, and the crowd for Red Sleeping Beauty this time around wasn't all it could have been, either; yet Mighty Mighty (deservedly), Po! (ditto) and Strawberry Story (rather less so, given a calamitous effort!) pulled quite an audience each.

I'll do a proper list at some point, but a big fat yes to Bossy Love.
