There are three votes for Frankie Cosmos from this room that I'm in now.

My primary wish is that there will be an Indietracks 2017. Why haven't they confirmed any dates? They are really, really late... So yeah, dates would really calm me down. They just cannot not return. Not after Allo Darlin and Fortuna Pop. Where is the world going? That said, I would like to see these at Swanwick in July:

Ballboy
Billie the vision and the dancers
Billy Bragg
Essex Green
Fishboy
Hayman Kupa Band
Jonathan Richman
Just Joans
Last Leaves
Magnetic Fields
Martha
Math and physics club
Mountain Goats
No Ditching
Robert Forster
Tali White
Tullycraft
ONSIND
Bill Botting

Lucky Soul
Piney Gir
Misty's Big Adventure
Just Joans on the main stage.

And I have also been getting... not jittery, but curious about the lack of confirmed dates.

I tweeted them a question about this last week as I was looking to book accommodation - announcement is later this year but it will be forthcoming soon enough.

Why not? I think that's a bit excessive to act like people doing a thing for zero return at their own personal expense owe you anything. You need to chill out a bit.

I'm guessing it wasn't meant quite as earnestly and entitledly as that, Dan. At least I didn't read it like that, anyway. You can't really tell with the internet, can you, eh?

I do have a nasty feeling that it's not happening next year but in case it is:

The Bellamys
Bossy Love

Did I say Teenage Fanclub yet? I saw them the other day and they were properly amazing.

I'm sure I saw a reply from Nat to Trev Oddbox on twitter recently that said next year's dates will be announced shortly

The fact that Nat and Andy's first child was born last week may account for the delay I suppose.

Thank you! Our baby's here, and we're really happy :-)

Sorry for the Indietracks delay. We're expecting to announce details in the next week or so - watch this space!

2 of the best bands currently active. :-)

Dog Chocolate being ace:

And yes the chap with the beard looks a bit like Paul from Allo Darlin' (they are brothers, I think).

And here is the mighty fine Porridge Radio LP from this year:

The bandcamp embed thing appears to be fucked on here. So here's a link instead:

I really really really really really want to see Dog Chocolate. I'm going to pester them on Twitter to put in an application to play.
