How do you all like my impersonation of an 'organiser'?
Wow! You're almost like a proper grown up with all those mad organisational skillz!

Next Sunday would be sweet as for me and Emily. The Queensferry would be just dandy again too. And pizza. Plenty of pizza.

And since it's a soccer world cup year, Bobby Charlton-inspired haircuts.

Vinnie hair is the only kind to use for "Brooding Goth"

Tonieee's only works if you're going for the Mick Hucknall/Bonnie Langford look

just chatting with alexis - i imagined 'early evening' as 6ish, while she imagined it as 4ish. where do others stand on this issue? 5-5.30ish?

for anyone who hasn't worked out the real life consequences of this debate - it has the power to determine what time we get to the pub on sunday.

I have the same concept of "early evening" as you grumpytimes.

The right time to go to the pub is, of course, anytime at all but, on this occasion I shall be happy to go with your 5-5:30ish suggestion.

Has anyone sent anything to the non-Anorak Anorak Meetup types?

I haven't no. My skills in organisation are really being shown up. I don't appear to have L's number on my phone so I may need to draw on the power of delegation.

In my role as Anorak Minion I have taken on the task of txting Lawrence and Bruce. I copied Richie Rich on there too in case he hadn't already been made aware by his big bro. Anyone else I forgot?

See you all at 5 - 5:30ish for a lovely pint of Monteith's.

Grumpytimes mentioned the Lucha Lounga in Newmarket at the last meetup and it seems that Heart Attack Alley will be playing their 50's style rock and roll there on Friday night. We should go and drink Mexican beer and have a jive.

I can't make that, sorry Markie. I'm looking forward to The Bats though. Hopefully we'll get some early stuff. "Mad On You" maybe. Or "Offside". I don't think I've heard either of those live.
