I really like apple orchard, they're the bee's knees

as soon as I have some cash mo-nay I intend to invest

they remind me a lot of being outdoors in the summer and squinting into the sun and feeling the grass beneath your bare feet

and 'the whitest, frothiest, blossomiest blossom that there ever could be'

they sound like a case of the shys

or that moment that necessity and longing dictates YOU overcome those shys

that moment when you take a deep breath and tell him/her what you've been yearning to tell him/her for all that him/her time, you know that momentous moment just before when everything's on a tightrope, everything's porcelain fragile

and then the moment when the sunlight bathed it's golden glow

apple orchard make me wax chronic, poetic and purple

hopefully I'm not confusing them with somebody else, no, I think I definitely mean apple orchard

Has anyone else heard the new ep? I've heard one track off it, and it really sounds like Ride. Which is a good thing, like.

The 'A Month Of Spring' one? I have it's on bandcamp

It's really good and yeah there's definite Ride overtones in there.

It's in fact coming out on the 15th of May. But we're already accepting pre-orders. And yep, the title track is free to download here or from Bandcamp.

Plus there are now one-minute previews of the b-sides ("The Rainbow's End" and "She Knows") on our MySpace page.

Thanks for the kind words, Sam. :)

And the new 7" single is officially out today:

A Month Of Spring is here!

Winter has been truly glacial and so we dreamed about spring during those freezing nights in warm blankets. After so much wondering and fantasizing, A Month Of Spring has finally arrived. We may have taken a rather different route to get here, but it's earnest, warm and most importantly, satisfying. It's quite rackety than usual, as we took pleasure in the bliss of sunshine and orange and rat distortion pedals.

Download the title track single for free here to listen to what the racket is all about. You can also watch the video to the song on YouTube here. The two b-sides - "The Rainbow's End" and "She Knows" - also have one-minute previews on our MySpace page. You like it? Order the single here then.

Coinciding with this release is our participation in the New York City Popfest which runs from May 20 to May 23. We are scheduled to play on the 23rd, the Sunday All-Dayer at Littlefield in Brooklyn, with some of our most favorite bands like The Embassy, A Smile And A Ribbon, Sea Lions, Bunnygrunt, The Secret History and four more! The show starts early at 3pm, we're slated to play at 5:15pm so please do come early. And we'd recommend to check out the other nights, as well as we'll definitely be there each and every night. Purchase the Sunday All-Dayer tickets here. Hoping to see some of you there!

Muchos gracias everyone,
Apple Orchard
