These are really lovely. Ooh, I see you're playing Nottingham soon, too! Well, soon-ish...

Got fed up with everyone going on about them and finally had to actually listen! Very glad I did. They're the best new band I've listened to this year. Already looking forward to the album which will be some sort of masterpiece if it keeps up the quality of the songs on bandcamp.
Love the female singers voice and the first band that's coming to mind comparison wise is The Secret History.

I bought the album whilst at the Popfest over the weekend.

It is great! Highly recommended.

They remind me a little of Propaganda - both in terms of their sound, as well as Dee's rather fab, stylish look at their gig on Saturday.

Can't wait for the album to arrive (sadly I had to miss popfest).
All their songs up till now have been rather fantastic, so I'm sure the album is going to be one of the best of the year.
And in Dee they have a great vocalist indeed. She gives them that extra bit of glamour which makes them even more special.

Dee was always destined to be a pop star.

Great to see HSOL getting some (much deserved) attention.

Three more songs from the album up on our BandCamp page, which will mean nothing to those who have already bought the album. Don't worry, we will have more at our 4 gigs next weekend.

Marc Riley played 'Palma Violence' on his show on 6music last night & will be playing more tracks from the album in the next weeks coming up to release. Our last 6music session is repeated in the early hours next Tuesday, which is handy if you live in New York, where HSOL's cellist lives. Hi Laz!
If you wake at normal hours, it will be on Iplayer.

I got the album (well the wife did!) at Popfest and can vouch for its loveliness. Hopefully we'll be able to make it up to the Nottingham date of the tour!

I'm hoping my copy will arrive tomorrow. Will help make up for the not being able to go the London popfest debacle, which I am still feeling down about.

What an album ! It's all I expected it to be and more.
Favourite songs : Cellophane (of course), Biergarten, Angelyne, ... actually all of them !
They hit POP heights on each and every one of the 12 tracks ! How many albums can you say that about nowadays ?!
