Vivian Girls

Vivian Girls, then!
Two 7 inches and an LP available right now.

Aren't they noisy?
Aren't they lovely?
Aren't they brilliant?

They're acecakes. And I got myself a ticket for their Buffalo Bar show in December.

Only got one of their singles. Missed the vinyl LP. Waiting for it to be re-issued - which is happening about now isn't it?

It's fantastic stuff that album - I got me one of the last copies. Hopefully going to at least two of the London gigs.

I love that album and I love that 'Wild Eyes' 7". They don't always make for easy listening, that's for sure, but they make my heart flutter with excitement and I can't wait to see them play live.

fantastic band. really looking forward to the shows in december. been a bit obsessed with them this year. i've got the three 7"s, the lp, the tape & just today ordered their 'live on wfmu' tour cd-r.

some kind soul put their 2007 demo online some months back

Code: Select all

www.mediafire.com/?wt3yn0xq2ty
not so wild on their policy of experimental b-sides for 7"s, wish it was straight-up pop songs all the way.

hope their success turns people on to black tambourine & shop assistants ...

when is the buffalo bar show? i see it's not listed on their myspace. so far i'm going to the windmill on the 2nd & madame jojos on the 9th.

ah, good, i'd wondered whether the person who told me might've been mixing up crystal stilts and vivian girls. glad both are coming.

just noticed the vivian girls windmill show clashes with mika miko & abe vigoda at the dome, bah.
