Hey Trev, we're in the process of setting up our webstore. It should be up by the end of the week @ the very latest. We'll set a cassette aside for you and let you know when you can order asap!

have ordered & bookmarked the webstore: looks like a promising tape label, sonic avenues (their forthcoming second release) are also rad & i see they're talking with statues about doing something.

yeah, that's on the new tape, which has the first recordings of first base as a three-piece band -- it somehow of reminds me of the theme to an 80s chatshow. looks like new songs are getting posted pretty regularly. i really like "don't let me down this summer".

Very latecomer to the party, but heard Humblebee play some First Base the other week and was bowled over. Be still, my beating paycheque...

"Can't Stop" finds particular favour of those I've heard. Yes.

That's what the world needs: more First Base parties!

I've just been listening to the new(ish) tunes off Bandcamp. 'It's No Fun' and 'If I See You With That Girl Again (I'm Gonna Kill You)' are both my new favourite songs of all time. <4 <4 <4

there's a catchy new first base song on the bloodstains across ontario comp 7" (streaming here) which also has exclusives by shadowy men on a shadowy planet, peach kelli pop, white wires, tonetta & a bunch of other ontario bands doing songs about their province. nifty concept. the label already did alberta & bc & there are more coming but this is likely to be the poppiest one.

I love those Bloodstains 7" records. Mine should be on it's way already from Mammoth Cave already! (I'm releasing some bands that are associated with the label soon - the Ketamines on the singles club and a CD album by Radians).

Damn, I love 'You Can Come Over'. It's the sound of happiness.

Soooo. Are we ordering the new LP from Hozac en masse to save on postage?

I guess what I am saying is: let's.

Had to cut back on my Hozac buying lately because the postage was KILLING me.

Yay! Let's wait a few more days to see if anyone else wants in and then I'll get on it. It's not out for a couple of weeks anyway.

Well, having said that, I just checked and it doesn't make a difference if you order one or ten cos it's an all-in price. The LP is $30 with p&p. :s

Fuck it - potato and leek soup for a week. Totally worth it.

he's pretty good about adjusting postage costs if you email him rather than using the paypal buttons.

Eeek. Trev, have you ordered yours? If not, I'll email Hozac now and see if he could cancel my order.

I haven't. Yet. I asked whether I could take 10-15 to distro through Odd Box. Let's see what the man, says.
