So, this single is officially bloody great right? I can remember watching Standard Fare and Shrag together once and feeling like there was a bit of a missing link. Now there is not.

It is bloody great. I love that they lobbed it away by playing it second, or something, in Nottingham last night and still the rest of the set was amazing.

Weird coincidence, I was telling SF about the film "Threads" in Dry Bar just before we went to the venue for that gig.

And some time tonight, let's say stage time around 9.30, they'll be at Leicester Firebug with other musical goodness. Just saying.

if there was one thing I'd say wasn't quite right about this year's indietracks it was the big evans the death sized hole in the middle

that's cracking that, I'd have put the video more out focus not because I've anything against evans the death or how they look but it would have brought back memories (mostly jangly mark's) of watching the chart show and getting annoyed because 'I can't see the bloody band, put them in focus for more than a second, for goodness sakes, please'

as it goes they are in focus, they're vivid and that's a cracking song that

that album can't come out soon enough

Thank god! I've been waiting for something new to love for ages and I knew it was going to be this from about 10 seconds in.
Have they released anything yet then?

The last single, 'Threads' was out on Fortuna Pop!, as is this on 6 September. The album is coming soon, apparently.

Wow, this band is so good! Thanks Anorak. Does anyone know if both Threads & I'm So Unclean will be on the LP?

i haven't seen any harry potter films, but i imagine that's what they look like. but with magic.

great set of pipes on her eh? took a while for them to grow on me, probably because they have haircuts i can only aspire to and they're *spit* young. but jings, good stuff.

That is absolutely gorgeous isn't it, but dear lord they look young! Well they do to these 37 year old eyes anyway.

As they say round these parts, it's a beezer.

I love Katherine's voice. Distinctive and strong - therefore easily holds its own against buzzsaw guitars - but not overpowering.

Both tracks from single can be heard here:

The new video. Some serious questions about intra-band relations arise.
