Eureka California are a three-piece from Athens GA who play shit-hot pop music that makes my heart go all of a flutter and my feet go all doolally

sometimes garagey, sometimes surfy, sometimes Pavementy, sometimes sorta psychedelic, sometimes E6-ish (hell, where are they from again?), sometimes melancholic but NEVER sucky. they've released a 7" and an LP on HHBTM (the very rad Modern Times EP and the even better Big Cats Can Swim)... plus a split cassette with Lame Drivers on Dirty Pillows. maybe they've released more; i'm not sure but these three records are all ACE

"Eureka California is a local indie band influenced by American indie that sounds like British indie influenced by American indie" - that's what someone else said, and it's sorta true

"Eureka California are fucking ace and i can't stop listening to em" - that's what i said and it's 100% accurate

Eureka California's split with Good Grief is currently available for the bargain price of 50p over at sncl

Obviously i'd prefer it if you bought directly from Good Grief, but heavens, this is cheap. You should defo buy it here while they've still got em.
