Agreed! It's a wonderful comp all over the place with awesome. I, too. Waited to listen until it arrived so all the songs sound new to me. That fireworks lead off is super rad. The whole thing really, as you said. Great to get a new Hobbes and making marks and heathers and all the rest. Solid throughout! Yow

Everyone has seen this on Facebook and Twitter and Tumblr and wherever by now, probably. But for those who missed it:

I've seen it and ordered one. It's very pretty isn't it?

Just found out that the lp is available for pre-order (through Mr Fog Of Ideases blog) and sold out on red vinyl already :-(. So I'm going to pre-order the black vinyl but thought I'd check on bandcamp first because I much prefer their download options than other stores but it's only available on cd there. Does anyone know if I'll be able to buy the vinyl through bandcamp later or is it through Rough Trade only?

Don't quote me but I think the red vinyl is an RT exclusive and possibly there may be some white vinyl available through bandcamp but I may have dreamt all this, so this advice should be marked 'unreliable' and 'best ignored'

The white vinyl looks ace but I can imagine the black vinyl does too with the label (which is black and white...with a bit of red on it)

Any colour vinyl will do me really. I should just get it from Rough Trade I think and stop being so fussy.

Hi all,

Rough Trade do have an exclusive 100 in red vinyl, the rest being in white in the US and other places - the red is showing as unavailable at the moment, but apparently this is a delivery delay rather than sold out.

Hopefully they'll have them in soon! We're playing at the Rough Trade East shop (just off Brick Lane) to launch the album - we're playing a free live set at 7pm on 12th Feb. Never played in a record shop before.

We only have our own copies of the vinyl, so at the moment are not selling through Bandcamp (everything has to come from the US) - we have some CDs though. The vinyl does look great in either colour - Andy Hart has done a brilliant job, as usual!

Hope everyone likes it! We're really happy with it...

Cool. Thanks for letting me know. I'll keep an eye on the Rough Trade site for when the red vinyl becomes available.

The LP is showing as available again on the Rough Trade website, but (blimey...!) it looks like the red one is sold out already, sorry if you missed it. The white one looks great too (if not better actually), honest! I'm also checking the date they've shown...

I'm going to wake up in a minute... I've just noticed the reference to black vinyl on the site! We didn't realise there was going to be a black version...! This might be an extra pressing for RT...

Thanks for the info. I've ordered the black vinyl version now. I found the Rough Trade site a bit of a nightmare though. I had to turn off all my privacy settings to get it to work and even so ended up going through the ordering process three times!

Hi again, Rough Trade have confirmed the red ones have sold out on preorders now, though they will have white ones in stock when we play there on 12th Feb. There are no black ones though, the rest are white vinyl.

any chance you could bring a few bandcamp codes to the rough trade instore? will buy the lp there but in my experience the shelflife cards in their records are only for MP3 320 or less.

I think they are MP3 320 on the download cards. What are you after?

I prefer flac, that's why I wanted to order it through bandcamp.

Hi, I'll look into that, and will try to get codes to you if you let me have your e-mail address on Thurs. I'm not sure how to do it at the moment(!), but we'll sort something out.

In the meantime, just letting you know you can now stream the album here, if you are interested in a sneak preview:

Hi again! Apparently the Shelflife codes do include a FLAC option, so all should be OK. Let me know if you have any problems.

And.... The album's released today! Looking forward to Thursday at Rough Trade...
