I thought the Indietracks set was wonderful and that the 3-for-£15 albums deal was great value (though Hibbett and Laura talked me out of getting the new one).

As for the soundman: I didn't hear him during the Frankie Machine set but his taking-a-phonecall during Haiku Salut was extremely out of order. Incidentally he did the sound for August Actually at the second gig we played. We were playing a big studio and it was only a few steps away from being a "corporate event". He did a really good job then, though was so far away from us that he could have been talking the whole time and we wouldn't've known.

The offer is still available on the website and I totally recommend it. I didn;t get the new album cos I'm a dunce. Still, it's something to look forward to, I suppose.

The new album is like the most perfect day spent surrounded by the sea. All twinkly guitars and tenderness. It's making me believe in stuff, Mr Machine.

Why can I find NOTHING on Youtube? Did no one film FM at Indietits?

Everytime I try to take a video of Mr Machine, it turns out so quiet and dingy that I feel terrible and delete it. You can't get that radiance on a stupid camera, clearly.

I recorded the whole set (audio, not video), and I will post it up for download when I manage to get proper internet sorted at my new flat. It sounds really lovely!

The photos I take are not the photos I like/ They look dull, they look crap/ When places in realy life..

The live audio would be lovely - missed some of the set to catch Papa Topo (who came on late anyway).

It’s technically impossible to film me because I am a ghost

Tom’s audio is pretty good though – a shame we played everything so fast :(

Hello

To celebrate my Christmas birthday I'm releasing a FREE Christmas Birthday single!

It's probably one of the most uplifting Christmas songs you'll ever hear, and it's called

(I'm Going To Kill Myself For) Christmas

https://frankiemachine.bandcamp.com/tra ... -christmas

I hope that you enjoy it.

Gutted I missed you playing in London the other week. Is the podcast out yet? I guess I could just find that out for myself but where's the fun in that, eh?

You're a nightmare to record, Rob. So gentle. God knows I've tried. And yet that recording is still dead lovely.

Rob very kindly let me have a new track from his album for my radio show last week (thanks Rob!) - it's up here if you fancy a listen.

Lovely stuff, although it's deeply weird finally hearing the 'studio' versions of some of the songs from that Indietracks set that I recorded 4 years ago. I feel nostalgic about something brand new? Anyway it's bloody brilliant. When's the next one out? :)
