At the time I didn't appreciate what a huge deal it was seeing them live at the Track & Field all-dayer at the Monarch in 2002 or whenever it was. THAT WAS A HUGE DEAL.

I think we're finally getting close to another Radio Dept. album after years of silence and techno (This Repeated Sodomy is killer song though, shame it's digital only), they've been playing some new songs live. Here's video of one
Looks like there's also unknown new member to replace Daniel, there used to be female member Lisa in 2001-2004 too but I doubt it's her

Edit: Yep, new album coming in October

I love how you just come across a band that's been out for, like fifteenfuckingyears and completely fall in love with them as I have with The Radio Dept. I feel like I'm drowning in a really pleasing and good way every time I listen to them. Which has been non-stop for about 3 days now.

Here's to more new discoveries like these.
