The Sunbathers

Post by The Sunbathers » Tue Oct 05, 2010 8:08 pm

Hi everyone,

The Sunbathers are looking for some more gigs so if anyone is interested in putting us on then please get in touch! We will pretty much consider anything - if we can logistically get there, chances are we'll do it!

If you're not familiar with us we've been described as The Marine Girls meets Confetti which perhaps is not surprising given that we're fronted by former Confetti vocalist Julie.

As we're playing Indietracks this year and we're already in the East Midlands, it seems appropriate that we should try and get in on a warm-up show. We did the Leicester one last year (even though we weren't playing) and that was tonnes of fun, so we'd really love to do it again.

We'd be happy to travel as far West as Brum, as far east as Cambridge as far north as Sheffo and as far south as Oxford, although frankly we'll consider anything we can drive there and back to on the night. We're ideal for filling that awkward spot at or near the bottom of the bill and we're also house trained and very polite!

Any offers send me a message or email Paul at info@thesunbathers.co.uk

For anyone who hasn't heard us, there's a taster here http://www.thesunbathers.co.uk/audio.htm.

The stupid thesis is in which means THE SUNBATHERS ARE BACK!!!!!!! If you have a slot on your bill that's crying out for a small but perfectly formed acoustic duo from the landlocked East Midlands who write songs about the sea, we're your band! You can PM me or The Sunbathers here, or email us at info@thesunbathers.co.uk.

You can also listen to us on bandcamp at http://thesunbathers.bandcamp.com
