I'd never really got on with podcasts until I discovered NQRS. It's the first one I've actually subscribed to. I bloody love it!

Have started downloading
Penny Broadhurst's Instant Classic

Song, by Toad

Which both seem quite nice

How do you subscribe to it? I clicked on a link in the blog, but it opened up a Quicktime thingy and started playing it as a stream. I want to stick it on my iPod like other podcasts.

I use Google Reader to subscribe to blogs, and then when it tells me there's a new post I just nip and download it. Haven't got a clue about RSS feeds and all that.

This is not very interesting to anyone but me, but my first podcast is online. Eee! I'll put it on my blog soon but if you'd like to listen, you can right-click and save this link here. It's 38-minutes long and 38MB large and it's popfun. I think.

I've put another podcast online last night because I couldn't sleep. It's got all my favourite romantic songs in it, from Chris de Beurgh to Cutting Crew.

No, it hasn't. It's all about short popsongs. You can download it here, if you want. It only runs for 18 minutes and it's 25 MB large. You can also find it on my blog thingy, if you know where that is, or you could just go for a walk and forget I ever said anything.

This is wonderful! I especially love that Colin Clary one in the middle, and I like how your introduction is in the spirit of the rest of the podcast..! What's the one near the end that goes "am i so stupid" and has lovely homemade type percussion?
the trouble with personalities, they're too wrapped up in style
it's too personal; they're in love with their own guile

I hate Christmas podcasts. Every year we have to endure them, or christmas songs for download. Christmas songs by bands who should know better - but can't resist their stab at the 'festive' song. Am I the only one to think like that?

Loved Crystal Ball's 2nd podcast because it wasn't festive. I would have loved it anyway, but loved it that bit more because it wasn't a 'Christmas bonanza'. Hurray!

Podcast! I made another one this morning. My coldy voice sounds terrible but don't be put off by that because I only speak for two seconds. You can download it here or you could go to my blog thingy to read the tracklisting as well.

I'd better go back to bed.

Blimey - there's something of an exclusive on there.

http://sleephouse.blogspot.com/

this is my favourite podcast of all time which is done by my friend merek, was where I first heard the likes of au revoir simone, arthur russell and black mountain, the music does tend towards the beardy, but merek has at times had a beard so I'll let him off. I like it cause it's done more like a radio show with merek telling you stuff between the bands and he writes up a blog about each of the bands too so it's pretty informative stuff.

He hasn't done one for ages, when i see him next week I'm going to badger him to do another one.
