Like 'Showgirl' by The Auteurs, for example.

hah! i beat you all. it's something i usually only mention to people once i've rescued their life, their girlfriend or boyfriend's life, and possibly baby-say their dogs, BUT: i'm the owner of the cd-single for this song, and i don't care what anyone says (not strictly true) but i think it's fantastic:

Johan, this is pretty much acceptable by now, I think. You can shout your Spice Girls love from the rooftops! (fwiw, I loved Viva Forever)

There's a little YouTube icon in the post reply thingy. Just insert the URL.

Click on the Youtube thingy in your reply window (4th from the bottom right) and enter the url of the youtube-video. It's easy!

EDIT: pffft that squirrelboutique beat me to it. Shows how easy it is!

Nah. I loved Fountains of Wayne back then. When was it, 1996? I haven't played that album for ages, but I'm sure it'd still work for me, if only for nostalgic reasons.

When I noticed the 'Fountains of Wayne' shop in The Sopranos, that brought a smile to my face.

Without hearing any of them, I somehow always rudely assumed all the other albums by them were shit though.

I don't know a lot of Fountains of Wayne but I think they're nice. I wouldn't want to listen to more than about an hour a month but their songs are like sweet little sugar-free candies. I had "Hey Julie" stuck in my head for about 2 weeks a few years ago.

It's the (not-really-very-)heroic-ish guitar solo I think.
Man, that guy has to be the most harmless front man in music history.
Q: I know you are, but what am I?
A: A garbage man.

Sean Paul's "I'm still in love with you"

The song brings back good memories of hanging out in this really horrendous but secretly fun club on my block when I lived in a really small town. My friend and I did that thing where you make fun of a song so much that after awhile we'd perfected our duet of it and had to admit that it was kind of actually awesome.

The video is pretty bad though.

In a press statement he said "I had no choice, it was coming straight for me".

The main song I like by a singer that I don't is "YEAH!" by Usher. For reasons I cannot begin to comprehend, it's one of my favourite songs. EVER.

Not that I dislike Mudhoney at all, it's just that 'Touch Me I'm Sick' is fucking way ahead of their other stuff, I reckon.

I like 'High Tension Line', 'Victoria' and 'Big New Prinz'. Everything else by The Fall is shit.

We've had this before. You couldn't be more wrong.

And the cover of Victoria is TERRIBLE.

That made me laugh.

Here's mine -

The first song of theirs I ever heard. And still the only one I like 832 years later. Hey ho.

I really like Good Enough on EGBDF. There's something to be said for a bit of guitar mayhem after a period of shambling baggyness. Or something. I've no idea what I'm talking about - judge for yourself.
