I disagree! I'm probably a tad biased as I rate Up Against The Legends as one of the best albums of the decade, but I think "Seconds Away" is simply a return to the earlier Legends sound and could quite happily have been tucked away on that first album. In fact the only thing mising is the trademark 'handclapping'.crystalball wrote:The Pains of Being Pure at Heart should sue
After the two London shows earlier in the year I was raving about The Pains to anyone who would listen, describing them as sounding like a brilliant coming together of early MBV, J&MC, Ride, The Legends, Black Tambourine and bits of House of Love.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to the POBPAH album and, having played 'Seconds Away' a few times now, I'm really hoping there'll be a new Legends album out soon too.
