Gok Wan Appreciation Thread

Post by Woodbine » Sun Apr 13, 2008 03:12

Come on girls, you know you love Gok.

I reckon I'd have a go on Gok if he wasn't a woofter.
Is evil just something you are, or something you do?

I love Gok Wan. Especially the new ad for How to look good naked. I know it's silly but I like that. Aw, Gok. I like you.

That even sounds like something Gok Wan would say, although probably followed by a comment about getting their breasts out using the million different terms he has for them. Is it just me or does everyone think he really enjoys cutting knickers off the women on their naked photoshoot?

I was sad that I didn't see him at the Trafford Centre a few weeks ago.
Just be nice to me.

He totally just acts all wooftery so he can get away with touching ladyboobs and bums.
Yeah!
I love you Gok Wan.
I'm well going to steal that massive poster of you that they've got up in Dorothy Perkins in the Vic Centre.
Then I'm going to tape you saying "Work those curves girlfriend!" off of the telly and play it on a loop every 3-4 minutes whilst I'm putting frocks on in front of the mirror.
That's what I'm going to do.

He is indeed from Leicester and was a 22 stone fatty in his younger days. Tis true.
Give over.

I once got overexcited when I saw him hanging around in Debenhams and there are rumours he used to work in my office.

I really quite liked Gok Wan before his new show. Now I am not so sure. I get a bit irritated at the "showdown" bit - his outfits always look far too overaccessorised and gimmicky, as if he's compensating a bit too much. Plus I get irritated about the way the challenge is phrased - which set do the audience prefer, not which do they think is designer (which to me is always fairly clear).

Also, £200 on an outfit is lots! I'd much prefer to see him do it on £50 or something.

2. his real name is Brian
3. he played Ziggy on Grange Hill

The girlfriend loves him but she's not too pleased with
me lusting over Shona Collins on that Miss Naked Beauty Contest
show or whatever it's called.

Shona Collins, red hair, freckly and curvy. She's perfect, as Eggstone would say.
It was easy, it was cheap, go and do it!
