Oh, I am glad I'm not the only one! I am quite concerned about my leopard print obsession, but I am enjoying indulging in it all the same. I only have footless tights (for $5 - total bargain) and cheap slingbacks at this stage, but every time I see something leopard printed I get quite excited. I'll be really concerned when I start to like Roberto Cavalli stuff, just because he is the master of the leopard print.
you're just too obscure for me

gosh i did very well in the faith sale yesterday evening - i only went to pick up some nice black canvas shoes they were holding for me, but i think they put it thru wrong cos i was only charged £5 when they were meant to be £15..

i also found some cute brown flats for £15 and some browny/burgandy patent flats for £12.

i tried to make myself throw some of my older tattier shoes away when i got home, but i just couldnt do it.
i said OK! the wind said no

Cowboy boots are horrible on anyone, even cowboys.

Did I already say I hate shoe shopping? Does anyone want to pick some shoes for me? I have no decent shoes left, they're all worn out and I haven't bought any new ones because (a) I cannot abide shoe shops (they seem to specialise in playing the most terrible chart pop at high volume) and (b) all men's shoes seem to be so fucking ugly that I always just end up going to Dee's of Trongate and buying another pair of DMs.

there's a new-ish vintage store on argyle st (near victor morris) that has lots of nice men's shoes. lee bought a swell pair in there the other day for £15.

Have you ever seen a sillier pair of shoes/boots/whatever they are than these?

I know I haven't. Even crocs.

I've had my eye on these old fashioned balmoral boots for coming up to a year now:

I was hoping they might go on half price sale at some point, all that's happened is they've gone up by £50 :(

I've had a look at them in person and they're well made but nowhere near worth the retail. My only hope is maybe a pair will come up on e-bay one day.

Eugh. Just because something can be done doesn't mean it should be done. Someone should tell them shoes that. I can't work out any possible circumstance in which you'd need or want that kind of arrangement of shoe.

No wonder there is £100 off them. There's something very Nathan Barley about them, isn't there?
