I was looking at some but it was a horrific experience – they're all far too big, too chunky, or terribly vulgar with logos and zips everywhere. I just want a nice sleek bag big enough for my phone and notebook and stuff.

I think I might have more luck with the vast range of women's bags; maybe there's something just masculine and angular enough that i could get away with it.
how about a batchel, I got one of these a couple of months ago and love it

They're pretty nice, but for 60 quid I'd want it to be full of coke and hookers.

The dog looks quite aggressive, so it probably is:

I had one of those when I started infants. And then when I started secondary school. I got the piss taken out of me mercilessly.

I blame those satchels for every one of my academic failures.

Oh heavens, I want this red one badly!

Why is it called a Batchel? I looked at the web site for information and saw that it has a bike as its logo and I got excited thinking it had some handy contraption for hooking onto a rack or handlebar but...no?

Darling!

I think it's called a batchel 'cos it's a mix between a bag and a satchel. Although they look like straight-down-the-line satchels to me. And I know me satchels.

I never get the chance to wear a DJ, so I'd go for that if you've got one- you can never be overdressed! I don't own a dinner jacket, but I'd like to. And I'd like to be invited to fancy do's where they're required, like ambassadors' receptions.

Its a Vanity Fair cocktail party. Don't want to turn up like a tramp.

Don't actually own a DJ right enough. Maybe i can get one in Burtons cheap. Or just wear a nice suit.

Michty me! I'd think that's a rather formal occassion then. Definitely no team colours - not even red and yellow!

it would need to be bought by saturday and that involves not using actual money, so its either burtons or find one in the US.

i'm sure a nice ordinary suit would suffice. or i could kilt it.

Oh of course - kilt it. That'll do the job nicely.

If I were in an up and coming band I would only wear a kilt to a US media party if I wanted all subsequent coverage of our tour to focus on our supposed patriotic message and compare us to Runrig and the Bay City Rollers.

How about a white linen suit? You don't often get a chance to wear one of those over here.
As wrong as it was to do,

i second the kilt vote (i don't know if anyone else was serious, but i think kilts always look classy)

Shit! That's as high-end as magazines get over here! Where is it? Go shopping! You'll be in, like the society pages and shit!
