Yeah, I don't need anything that has "Padded" or "Push-Up" in the name. I've taken to wearing sports bras for everyday stuff just because I'm tired of every top either looking pornographic or like maternity wear.

I can remember being self-conscious because all of my friends developed before I did. I was quite small-breasted and jealous during my adolescent and teen years. What a fool I was.
Q: I know you are, but what am I?
A: A garbage man.

I bought a couple sports bras in July to use because I had some surgical openings that regular bras were pressing up against, and I've worn them pretty much constantly since. They're much better for not making blouses and cardigans look like they're about to pop open.

That stupid padding that is in every bra no matter what size is ridiculous. Not everyone wants to look like she has a bigger chest.

Yup, Calvin Klein is great. But it's a tad overpriced in England. There's a Calvin Klein underwear shop in the York outlet mall but I've yet to find anything very nice. They seem to only get the duds and I've yet to ever manage a matching set in my size. I guess that happens at outlet stores.

I'm all about slips these days. I love the ones at Urban Outfitters (http://tinyurl.co.uk/oe93" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) but can't find anywhere else with a good selection. Any ideas?

Are slips very in right now? I needed one a couple years ago for a dress and had no luck finding one anywhere.

I bet it's Gossip Girl making them all popular. Those girls are never not inbetween outfits sitting around in slips.

Yes, literally everything they wear is loved, in original or rip-off.

I went for the braided hair accessories after seeing Serena wearing something similar in the last episode. It was typically OTT with the Grecian goddess Marchesa dress and uber elaborate hair do, but the hair accessories got me.

I also went "OH!" at a lot of Blair's outfits as usual. And Jenny's.

I don't know. I bought one to wear underneath a really thin vintage dress and was hooked. You can buy rather old lady looking ones at M&S. Urban Outfitters is the only place I've seen nice ones.

I don't really get some of the ones that they sell though as they don't look particularly functional. I guess they are for 'lounging' or for layering a couple together.

Yeah, a few of the ones at Urban Outifitters look like the patterns would show or the material would be lumpy underneath a dress.

But it's very exciting that nonfrumpy slips are available! I think I ended up borrowing one from a friend's mother last time. It worked, but it wasn't cute at all.

Huh. I bought Primark bras today, without even trying them on (Primark queues on a Saturday - hell NO) lots of 'em, five, and would you believe they are more comfortable and much nicer than the tears I have shed in La Senza thinking I am some sort of freak who has a body not made for bras, or at least not in a way that makes it look flattering.

New undies. I heart them muchly. I bought the same set (bra and suspender knickers) for my sister for her birthday too.
