Andrew or Corin for me now, i think

Josie's been doing my head in for weeks... her and John James.

and i guess i'm largely indifferent to the rest

oh no, wait... Mario is nice; i wouldn't mind if he won. and on the whole i've decided Dave is probably alright, based on the few occasions i've paid attention to him

josie's come into her own in the last 48-72 hours, she's much better when she's not acting as john james weird surrogate mum and, instead, picking out all his flaws with forensic accuracy

I don't like dave, sometimes I think I do, but then he goes off on one banging on about the glory in his belly or mithering on about one housemate to another, he just seems a bit of a plum, really, I don't hate him or wish him ill, I just think he's a plum

I've grown to like mario, he cuts quite a tragic figure and quite a likeable one at that

Who's that one that said "off the 'ook" all the time.

I want him back in it.

And who the hell is "carpenter Marcus Akin". I don't recall any turning or intricate dovetailing going on in the house.

they had him on big brother's little brother and, wow, he seemd a rather bitter man... like in that way that 'life and soul of the party' types often end up...

my favourite housemates are the utter tossers who make for compelling viewing ...

dave -- nasty & manipulative. the really scary part is that he genuinely seems to believe he's a nice guy. he's playing a great game keeping below the radar.

john james -- infuriating. complete lack of self-awareness. hypocrite. fascinating fellow.

who i'd like to win: mario, corin, andrew

josie's okay but it's more fun when there isn't a predictable winner. really liked sam during his first week in the house, wish he'd revert to being independently annoying rather than doing dave's/ john james's work for them.

Indeed, a poison chalice if ever there was one. However the presence of uber-bitch Pete Burns is probably enough to make that worth watching.

That bit where the house flooded and it went all Lord of the Flies was brilliant - perhaps they should commission another series where the house is just beset by a succession of natural disasters, it would certainly make for compelling viewing.

I'm watching on C4+1 so I'm an hour behind. I've gone right off John James though, he's like a fifteen year old Manics fan threatening to kill themself every five minutes. I blame the eyeliner.

Is it just me or does John James look a bit like Shirley from Eastenders?

the sun says otherwise: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sh ... -romp.html

see also magazines such as 'star', 'new', 'phew', 'cor', 'blimey', 'really?' and 'is that so?' where corin's jilted lesbian lover tells all pages 19-22
