Launched in 1977 now 18.5 billion km from earth on the very edge of the solar system about to enter interstellar space, working in the most hostile environment known to man at temperatures just a few degrees above absolute zero. Still in good working order sending a constant stream of data back to earth.

Bought in 2011, currently situated just a few kilometres from the retail outfit from which it was purchased in the relatively agreeable environment of my front room. Knackered.

I've got one of those. It got loads of stars in the review so I picked one up at Comet, but it turns out I don't have space for it.

Where as there's so much space for Voyager 1 that it would take 20,000 years to even get to two stars.
