Your Indietracks 2016 wishlist
Re: Your Indietracks 2016 wishlist
After yesterday's turn at the Nottingham POP Alldayer I'm requesting Pete Astor
In fact, if he don't get booked, I'm not going

And, yes, I do know he played in the church this year (I couldn't get in) but get him back with a full band and stick him on a bigger stage next year so more people can see him (i.e, me)
I may still be a little drunk from yesterday
Or just emotional
Or both

Expert Alterations. Have they been over before? I always mix them up with Ultimate Painting and Proper Ornaments for some reason. Someone here with an English degree could probably explain to me why.

hey shaun! this is paul from expert alterations. we haven't been over before but are trying our best to play indietracks this summer. if we're asked to play we'll try to book a 7-10 day UK tour around it.Shaun A wrote:Expert Alterations. This MUST happen! I also need your album and 12" ep if any UK distros are carrying them. Sauna Youth
Saw them for the first time last night after loving the album, fantastic stuff. I've seen a shed load of bands this year but they are the best I've seen by far. Would be fantastic in the engine shed on the Saturday!

When are applications open for next year? Asking for a friend... well, four specific friends.*
ANYWAY, as the only bands I see these days are ones I play with I thought I would DO a few, thus:
Grace Petrie (she's local!)
Ivor Game (he was *amazing* at Totally Acoustic last week, everyone google him!)
Frankie Machine (new album is ACE)
The Retro Spankees
The Sweet Nothings
Gavin Osborn
Mammoth Penguins
Colour Me Wednesday
Ay Carmela
Daniel & Norbert Dentrassangle
The Just Joans
Bodyheat
Winston Echo (he's BACK)
Robberie
Alexander Christopher Hale
Simon Love
David Leach
The Thyme Machine
A New International
The Mini-Skips
Prolapse
Be Like Pablo
John Osborne (POEMS)
Matt Abbot (POEMS)
* our new album's out in the Spring and the Vlads will CRY - CRY - if we miss out on playing. I, of course, will be stoic...

Hey,
I'm in Alto45 and we'd really really really like to play indie tracks 2016. Apart from that, how about:
Trust Fund
Mega Emotion
The Lovely Eggs
Haymen/Kupa band
The Living End
Rory McVicar
Splintered Man
Advert Alert !! We made this...

rough trade has copies of the LP!

we did a pretty small run of the EPs so there is no distro outside of slumberland and our own copies. best bet is to order one from mike or wait till we lug some over there.

Re: Your Indietracks 2016 wishlist
The only problem with Calvin Johnson would be he would *have* to play the church, and probably multiple times to meet the demand.
