Brechin 2-0 RRFC

Arse.

Had a nice cup of tea though, you always get a lovely cup of tea at Brechin as opposed to the weak, tea-coloured water you get at other grounds.

Lovely cup of tea.

Arbroath away next week (still the only ground in Scotland where you could be playing with and against the wind at the same time!). You get a lovely cup of tea there too, it must be an Angus thing as you get a lovely cup of tea at Forfar as well.

It was a sad day earlier in the season when the wifie at the kiosk at Stark's told me they weren't doing stovies any more. However, you only get an average cup of tea at Stark's, it usually ends up a bit stewed.

Yes, I am going on about fitba catering so as to avoid talking about the weekend's fitba...

i have fond memories of getting half a pie covered in brown sauce and a cup of sugary, milky tea when my dad used to take me to junior football when i was a kid. i think that must have been back in the days when drinking at football matches wasn't frowned upon, because i remember being sat with my dad and getting showered with lager every time something exciting happened.

i'm helping you get over the weekend's football, chris. and avoiding work.

You're very kind.

There's nothing worse than that journey back from a game when you've played like shite and were lucky to get nil. I think the 3 of us said about 10 words to each other during the 50-ish mile journey back to Kdy, not including the "see you next week then aye?", "aye..." at the end of it!

Arent they? surely if they werent bigots they wouldnt support glasgow rangers? its abit like saying everyone in the B N P isnt a racist? i think i raise a valid point i find it quite hard to understand how someone can support Glasgow Rangers and not be a biggot, when theyre at ibrox and the supporters next to them start to chant "go home the famines over" or "up to the knees in fenian blood" do they tell them to stop? when the man in the seat next to them is doing nazi salutes do they tell him to stop?

Please don't be so foolish. You can't compare Rangers fans to the B N P at all. Is the entire membership of the B N P made up of Rangers fans?

Sure Rangers fans have been guilty in the past of complete idiocy. But that's not confined to just Rangers fans, is it? You get racist behaviour at every single ground in the UK every Saturday afternoon, I'd bet.

If you want to come on here and call people Nazis without any evidence you'll find yourself banned pretty quickly. There's enough sectarian bullshit in Scottish football without you wading in with your nonsense. Grow up.

you're quite clearly insane. so celtic fans have never indulged in any sectarian chants? and it's a bit rich for you to come on here to complain about sectarianism and then refer to rangers fans as "filthy orangemen". there are subsets of both rangers and celtic fans that behave like bigoted cunts, but there are also plenty of fans who just *gasp* like football.

you've already been issued a warning for your earlier post, so i would suggest that you might want to stop trying to aggravate people by posting ill-informed bollocks.

so if i find evidence of Rangers fans being nazis does that mean i wont get banned? or does it mean if i say something you disagree with i'll get banned?
Im really sorry i made the mistake of thinking due to the nature of this forum it might at the very leat be slightly left-leaning.Being a socialist I feel when i see pictures like the one below im within my rights to question the motivation of Glasgow Rangers supporters. As for the acusation that Celtic fans are just as bad and equally sectarian i feel i must disagree i cant understand why any person in there right mind would call songs about bobby sands mp, the irish national anthem, the internetional brigades or the potato famine offensive (unless of course theyre right wing) and to be honest ii make no apologys for saying "filthy orangeman" they are filthy right-wing scum
So by all means ban me and then justify it to each other by telling yourselfs i was just trying to get a rise, but Rangers are right wing and so are there supporters that rubbish about "theyre only in for the football" doesnt wash with me, its like a skrewdriver fan saying "im only in it for the music"
so the ones doing the nazi salutes are right wing but the rest are just there for the football?

No one has said there are no racist football fans. They have said that you can't call a whole group of people racist because some of them are racist. That's got nothing to do with being left-leaning. It has to do with being a reasonable, clear-thinking person.

I'm going to second the grow up. You're not proving anything.

No-one's denying that quite a lot of Rangers fans are idiots. You're saying all Rangers fans are idiots. That's not the sort of thing a socialist would say. That's the sort of thing a reactionary would say.

Those photos don't show 100 per cent of Rangers fans. I know Rangers fans who abhor the bigotry and sectarianism shown by their fans just as much as you do. Does that make them nazis, too? Because of the football team they support?

That's like saying because you're a socialist you support the extermination of millions of people by Stalin.

I'm not about to go putting names and photos of members of Antifa on the national internets, no. There might be spies about.

He's probably in that photo you posted. He'll be one of the hundred-odd not saluting as opposed to the about seven who are.
